Can't stay away

Has it been 8 months already since...?

I miss it you know.


Miss the people I worked with, the people I met, my new friends, the dedication we've all put into the production, the synergy of the group, the creative juices, the commitment we made to ourselves to do our best,
the sweat & tears, the walking around in circles, the jokes, the warm-ups, the lack of sleep, the
excitement,
the adrenaline rush right before curtains up, curtains fall,
the Penang trip, the reaction from the crowd-
Everything!

Being around a group of theater loving people. People dedicated to their respective art. Who want to make a difference in their own way. Who work tirelessly to make a mark in the creative arts-o-phere. Despite all odds, all they see is the future and the potential for the performing arts in Malaysia.
"The sky's the limit", says them.

"No time for skeptics" says them.

"Have faith!" they cry in unison.

Even if all they are is a mere drop in a vast open sea; the impact & imprint which they left within me- I can't even begin to describe it.

All I can say is, they truly are an inspiring bunch & I am immensely privileged to have crossed paths with them.

So when the opportunity arrived again, at first I told myself that I couldn't possibly commit due to my schedule. But then I couldn't kick the thought outta my head. & as the date drew closer, I felt compelled to send in that email, I was drawn to it.

Eventually, it became harder and harder to deny how much I wanted to experience it all again.

Stubbornness prevails and I am now again a part of another theater production.
Will talk about that in the near future
when the publicity movements are on the go.

Vices I have many. Optimsm, ever aplenty.
Where there's a will, there's definitely a way.

As my old man always says, "If there's no way, make way".
